- I made 2 scheme’s to help you guys with the wiring (READ THE USERS MANUALS FIRST!!!) of the FPV stuff, one if you are using the Futaba T6EX radio and the other if you using a Futaba 7C radio without any head-tracking devices (The radio have to be in HELI MODE so you can pan and tilt the camera while throttle hold switch is on, how to program the radio will also be demonstrated in the guides section separately). If you are using a different brand of radio (must have HELI MODE) don’t worry the wiring principles are the same, the channel order may change a little bit, other then that everything should be the same. » Read more…

- The camera I have is powered with 3.3 – 5.5V, low power consumption up to 60mA. The ESC I have hase a built-in BEC : 5v / 3A, so i could power the camera from the BEC but since i have 4 servos which in some situations will operate at the same time so additional 60 mA from the camera “CAN” in some situations lead to a BEC failure. So i decided to build a 12V to 5V voltage step-down using a KA7805A 1A Positive Voltage Regulator. » Read more…

- Since I like to build stuff by my self i made a camera mount plan for the easystar. It’s nothing new, there are several online shops which are selling similar camera mounts under the name “EasyPod” or something like that. This is the ver. 1, so probably after a while i will make some improvements in the future.

- The camera i have comes mounted on a pan/tilt system with 9g DETRUM servos. This servos have a 90° normal travel and I wanted to modify the “pan” servo to have 180° travel which gives you later an beautiful in-flight side view.

- Hello everyone, this will be my first FPV project, which is why I have chosen the Multiplex EasyStar as a platform. I will lead you through the entire project, from the very beginning, which means the selection and purchase of necessary parts and materials, assembly, manufacture of individual parts and all the way up to the first flight. I will also write about safety Issues and Rules for Responsible RC Aircraft Operation

- I’ll start with a list of all the parts I used and suggestions… » Read more…
